Parkville, Mis. – The Bulldogs competed in the Park Invitational on Friday where they finished 5th out of seven teams.

McPherson scored a 69.77, 1.24 points ahead of Peru State who placed sixth with a score of 68.53. The Bulldogs saw improved scores in multiple categories including routine composition and overall effect, but were deducted 1.50 points due to routine mishaps.

Despite the drop in score, Head Coach Toni Snyder feels confident in his team’s ability to execute their routine heading into the next weekend.

“Our routine this past weekend was overall more difficult than our performance at the Coyote Classic, but illness and injury caused some downfalls in certain areas of the scoresheet – especially with our building technique. We are healthier this week as we head back into the gym and we’re ready to make some quick changes to ensure a cleaner routine ahead of the upcoming Columbia Classic.”

The Bulldogs will travel back to Missouri this Saturday to take part in the Cougar Classic at Columbia College on February 21st.
