ALLEN COUNTY, Kan. — Beginning Monday, Feb. 16, the Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a field survey to gather information necessary for proposed pavement rehabilitation south of U.S. 54 in Allen County.
The survey of U.S. 169 will start at northwest Minnesota Road and continue north 2.5 miles, ending at the Nevada Road overpass south of U.S. 54.
Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features within the corridor. A member of the survey crew will contact property owners or tenants for permission to enter private property.
KDOT expects this survey to be completed by late March.
