MAIZE, Kan. – The McPherson High School Boys Swim team closed off the 2026 regular season this past weekend with a 12th-place finish at the Maize South Invite.
The invite was highlighted by a terrific individual performance by Cooper Bohme, who finished 5th in the 200 Freestyle and 4th in the 500 Freestyle. Ben Bocox also had a terrific showing in the 100 Backstroke, placing 10th.
The team will now prepare for the AVCTL meet on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Hutchinson YMCA. Following that will be the State meet at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center on Feb. 20-21.
