HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce Trinity Catholic High School senior Cameron Kiser as this week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Hutchinson Community College.
The week – Kiser had two of his best games of the season in leading the Celtics to consecutive wins for the first time this season. Kiser first scored a game-high 18 points and sank five 3-pointers in a 50-46 win over Central Christian Academy, and then he matched a career-high with 20 points in a 52-50 overtime win at Sedgwick. Kiser sank three more 3s, and also scored all five of the team’s fourth-quarter points.
The season – Kiser has been one of Trinity’s best players this season. The senior guard has two of the team’s three 20-point games, and has scored in double figures six times, which ties for the most on the team. He’s averaging 8.1 points a game, is shooting 76% from the free-throw line and has sank a team-best 24 3-pointers.
