The Nickerson High School girls and boys basketball teams were swept Friday night at the Frogdome (the old gym) in Pratt.
The Nickerson girls lost 64-24 and the Panther boys lost 89-53.
The Nickerson girls (0-19) trailed 29-6 after one quarter and 44-16 at halftime.
The Panther boys (4-15) trailed Pratt 30-6 after one quarter and 53-22 at halftime. The Greenbacks outscored the Panthers 36-31 in the second half.
The Pratt boys improved 16-1 and the Greenback girls improved to 6-12.
The Nickerson Panther teams host Halstead Tuesday.
Due to a lack of players, Nickerson will not play in the Hillsboro junior varsity boys tournament on Saturday.
