HILLSBORO, Kan. – Bluejay Men’s Basketball aimed to knock off Highway 56 rival McPherson on Wednesday evening. The Bluejays came agonizingly close to taking down then-No. 4 (now No. 3) ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan on Monday and looked to build on that momentum.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Kam Kaniper led the way in scoring with 18 points off the bench
- Jake Weaver once again put up a monster defensive stat line, pulling down 15 total rebounds (three offensive, 12 defensive), while blocking three shots
- Marque Wilkerson, Niieihii Blackbear, and Khalil Allen also finished in double figures in the loss, scoring 15, 14, and 11 points respectively
- The Bluejays out-shot the Bulldogs from the field, 47.1% (33-70) to 43.2% (35-81)
