HILLSBORO, Kan. – Bluejay Women’s Basketball returned to action on Wednesday evening, playing host to Highway 56 rival McPherson. The Bluejays looked to get back in the win column following a disappointing setback at Oklahoma Wesleyan on Monday.

- Tayton Smith led the team in scoring, with 16 points, while Lillie Veer followed closely behind, finishing with 15 points of her own
- Smith hauled in eight rebounds and recorded one block in the win
- Kaylee Kauffman shot a perfect 100% (3-3) from downtown
- The Lady Bluejays shot at an impressive 50.8% (32-63) clip
