Local high school football athletes were named to All-Star football games that will be played during the summer of 2026.
Chanute High School’s Brady Alonzo was named one of 88 players participating in the 2026 Kansas Shrine Bowl. The Kansas Shrine Bowl will be played in Emporia on Saturday, June 27, at Welch Stadium.
Multiple local athletes and one coach will take part in the 8-Man All-Star games, which will take place in Beloit on Saturday, June 13. Colony-Crest’s Head Coach Nick McAnulty will be the Head Coach of the D-II East team. Joining him will be one of his players, Jensen Barker. Marmaton Valley will also feature a pair of athletes, Todd Stevenson and Tyler Lord.
