Strong Fourth Quarter Lifts Salina South Girls Past Hutchinson

After scoring just 21 points in the first three quarters Friday, Salina South doubled that number in the fourth quarter and came back to beat Hutchinson 42-40 at the Salthawk Activity Center.

Hutchinson led after each of the first three quarters, including a 26-21 lead after three quarters.

Danai Morgan led Hutchinson with 16 points, including eight in the final quarter. Tenley Keeton added 14 points for the Salthawks.

Hutchinson falls to 4-4 while Salina South improves to 8-2. The Salthawks will next play on Tuesday at Valley Center.
