The Hutchinson High School girls and boys basketball teams rolled posted victories against Haysville-Campus Tuesday night at the Salthawk Activities Center.
The Hutchinson boys won 47-45 and the Salthawk girls won 60-26.
The Hutchinson boys won their first game of the season and now are 1-4. The Salthawk girls improved to 3-2.
In the varsity boys game, Hutchinson led the Campus Colts 10-8 after one quarter and 27-15 at halftime.
Hutchinson’s Lamar Govain led all players with 22 points. Draydon Hippen scored 6 of his 8 points in the fourth quarter.
Campus was led by Jalen Clark with 19 points, including four 3-pointers.
The Salthawk girls led 18-3 after one period, 40-9 at halftime and 59-17 at the end of three quarters. Campus outscored the Salthawks 9-1 in the fourth quarter.
Hutchinson’s Tenley Keaton knocked down down five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 17 points. Lynnea Alvarez followed with 14 points, including three 3-pointers. Ava Krone scored 9 points and Kohbie Craft 8.
Norah Seeley led Campus with 11 points.
The Salthawk boys and girls teams wrap up the first semester with games at Arkansas City Friday night.
