ATHENS, TX — Neosho Women’s Basketball stepped back on the floor for Day 2 of the Trinity Valley Classic, taking on a powerful NJCAA Division I opponent in Panola College. The Panthers came out swinging with a strong first quarter, but Panola’s depth and physicality ultimately carried the game as Neosho fell 84–39. The loss moves Neosho to 6–6 on the season.

Neosho set the tone early with a confident opening 10 minutes, putting up 17 first-quarter points and grabbing an early lead before Panola responded with defensive pressure and transition play that shifted momentum through the middle quarters.

Divine Brown delivered an efficient scoring performance, going 4-for-7 from the field to finish with 8 points and 3 rebounds in just 16 minutes.

Janae Davis knocked down a pair of threes on her way to 6 points and 4 rebounds, providing steady leadership in the back court.

Sophia Mireles continued to do a little of everything, adding 3 points, 3 steals, and 4 assists, battling on both ends for 27 high-effort minutes.

Chloe Parker came off the bench firing, scoring 6 points with a three of her own, while Kaozong Yang added 5 points and another crafty finish at the rim.

Down low, Jaida Harris brought physicality, securing 3 rebounds and knocking down 4-of-6 from the line to finish with 4 points.

Desiree Williams and Bauke Graulus each grabbed 5 boards, helping Neosho total 37 team rebounds against a much bigger Panola roster.

Freshman Jessica Houston also added valuable minutes, chipping in a rebound and two assists while bringing energy off the bench.

Despite the final score, the Panthers never backed down from the challenge. Neosho stayed aggressive on the glass, forced 7 steals, and continued developing depth and chemistry against one of the strongest teams on their schedule.

The Panthers now turn their focus forward, using the experience from the Trinity Valley Classic to fuel growth as the season continues.

The Panthers hit the road again, traveling to Oklahoma for their next matchup on Tuesday, December 2, against NOC Tonkawa.
