Area Athletes Sign with College Athletic Programs

Four area athletes will compete in athletics at the two-year and four-year levels.

Buhler High School senior Kennedee Applegate signed a letter of intent to play women’s soccer at Pratt Community College.

“We proudly congratulate Kennedee Applegate on her signing with Pratt Community College, where she will continue her academic and soccer journey,” said Buhler girls soccer coach Randall Rank on the team’s Facebook page.

“We look forward to making her senior spring season a memorable one before she begins the next chapter at Pratt.”

Other area athletes signing to play college athletics are:

• Haven High School senior Avery Brawner signed a letter of intent to play softball at Hutchinson Community College.

• Nickerson High School senior Delaney Childs signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Dodge City Community College.

• Little River High School senior Arika Feldman signed a letter of intent to play NCAA Division II basketball at Fort Hays State University.
