The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) announced on Veterans’ Day, Tues., Nov. 11, that active military members and veterans, plus one guest, will receive complimentary admission to the High School Football Sectional games on Nov. 13 and 14.
It is the third year that KSHSAA has been doing the promotion. Military members and vets can admit themselves and a guest by showing their driver’s license, which should have a seal indicating if the person is a veteran and signifying service. If the driver’s license has not been renewed in the past couple of years, a veteran ID or any proof of identification is also acceptable.
KSHSAA also mentioned that host schools may also honor veterans and active military in other ways on gameday. CLICK HERE to view the KSHSAA Football playoff brackets and to see who is playing in Sectionals.
