Buhler High School’s Emerson Waldren, a 5-foot-10 senior outside hitter/setter, was named to the Kansas Volleyball Association 2025 Class 4A State All-Tournament Team.
Buhler posted an 0-3 record in pool play at the Kansas 4A state volleyball tournament and posted a 15-25 overall record. Buhler won a 4A sub-state tournament title.
Andale, which won the 4A state tournament, placed three players on the KVA 4A team: Hayden Grimes, Abbey McNeal and Reagan Winter.
Topeka Hayden, the second-place start finisher, placed four players on the team: Ella Foster, Hailey Schmidtlein, Mallory Tanking and Blakely Walter.
Third-place Clay Center placed Lily Edwards and Raimee Lipker on the team. Fourth-place Paola did not place any players on the team.
Also making the team were McPherson’s Brooke Doile and Rock Creek’s Bryanna Zoeller.
