Caleb Muehler Wins Third Straight Cross Country State Title, Bullpup Boys Finish 5th

WAMEGO, Kan. – The McPherson High School Cross Country teams participated in the State Championships in Wamego on Saturday, Nov. 1, seeing star boys runner Caleb Muehler win his third consecutive individual state title. The Boys team finished in 5th place and the lone girls runner for the Bullpups, Adeline Kramer, medaled.

Muehler finished with a time of 15:54, winning the boys race to earn himself another state title. Kayden Friesen was the second Bullpup to cross the finish line, finishing 30th overall. Tripp Pelzel finished right behind in 31st.

Adeline Kramer placed 10th in the Girls State race, finishing as a medalist. The time of 20:24 was a new personal record by nearly 30 seconds, according to head coach Nikolous Rempe.
