The Sterling High School volleyball team placed third at the Kansas Class 2A Regional 4 Quad C regional at Medicine Lodge with a 1-2 record.
Sterling lost to Atwood-Rawlins County 25-20, 25-22 and Medicine Lodge 25-18, 25-7 and Wakeeney-Trego Community 28-26, 18-25, 25-11.
Medicine Lodge won the regional title with a 3-0 record. Rawlins County went 2-1 and Wakeeney-Trego finished 0-3.
