MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — The Moundridge Community Foundation (MCF) has announced that its 10th annual Match Week will take place Nov. 3-7.
For 2025, MCF received two grants from the Patterson Family Foundation, each providing $50,000 in matching funds. One grant will match donations made to local organizational endowments, while the other will match donations made to the Moundridge Community Fund. In 2024 a total of $174,948.75 was raised during the week.
Matching funds will be distributed on a proportional basis. For example, if over $50,000 is raised during the week and an organization receives 10% of the total donations, that organization will receive $5,000 as a grant for immediate use.
“This event is an opportunity for organizations to build strong endowments that provide permanent funding,” said Michelle Huddle, CEO of the McPherson County Community Foundation, MCFs managing affiliate. “At the same time, they benefit from immediate funding by leveraging the grant dollars.”
While this will be the 10th year that MCF has held their annual Match Week, 2025 is special because of the opportunity to raise community endowment dollars. The $50,000 match for the Moundridge Community Fund
