Senior Hannah Marcum finished tied for 18th place on Monday at the Class 5A Substate golf tournament at Salina Municipal Golf Course, and that qualified Marcum for the state tournament.
Marcum shot a 105, just three strokes away from a top-15 finish.
The Salthawks finished fifth as a team with a 444. Kapaun Mount Carmel won the substate with a 292.
The 5A state tournament starts at 9 a.m. Monday at Emporia Municipal Golf Course.
