IOLA, Kan. — In response to the recent layoffs at Gates, several community organizations – including the City of Iola, Allen County, City of Humboldt, Allen Community College, Iola Chamber of Commerce, Thrive Allen County, and KansasWorks – are hosting a Community Job & Resource Fair to connect Allen County with jobs and support services.
This event is more than a job fair—with more than 50 jobs being offered at the job fair, the event is an opportunity for free professional headshots, free resume reviews, free LinkedIn profile assistance, and workforce support to help you take the next step in your career. Job seekers of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend and connect directly with local employers and career resources.
