McPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson High School Volleyball celebrated its six seniors on Tuesday, Oct. 14, winning both of their matches on Senior Night in the MHS Auxiliary Gym.
The Bullpups defeated Wellington in their first match 2-1 (25-23, 24-26, 25-19) before closing off the day with a win over Buhler 2-0 (25-19, 26-24).
A pair of seniors, Brooke Doile and Ava Romero, led the McPherson offense with 20 kills each. Romero also led with 17 digs. Doile was not far behind with 15 on the day. Senior Adelyn Barrow also had a good defensive day with 15 total digs.
McPherson is now 30-5 on the season. They have two regular season matches remaining, both of which are taking place in Winfield on Thursday, Oct. 16.
