Bullpup Girls Golf Crowned Regional Champs, Buschbom Wins Individual Title

HESSTON, Kan. – A rainy, chilly day did not dampen the play of McPherson High School’s Girls Golf team, as they won the Regional title with Andi Buschbom winning the individual title at Hesston Golf Course on Monday, Oct. 13.

The team scores are calculated by the top four individual scorers per team. The top four Bullpup golfers finished in the top 12 out of 47 total golfers, helping McPherson win by seven strokes over Buhler. All six golfers placed in the top 20.

Andi Buschbom won the individual title with a score of 75 (+4). Teammate Brodie Kuhn finished just one strike behind Buschbom to finish 2nd. Lleyton Kuhn played 7th with a score of 84 (+13), and Amelia Moody placed 12th with 91 (+20).

The Bullpups will now prepare for the State Championships, held at Carey Park in Hutchinson on Oct. 20-21.
