Cheney High School golfers captured the top six individual places and ran way with the Central Plains League varsity tournament Tuesday.
Cheney placed first with a 367 score, followed bu Wichita Trinity 443, Kingman 447, Garden Plain 489, Norwich 505 and Medicine Lodge 555.
Cheney’s Raegan Black placed first and individual medalist honors with an 88, followed by Emmerson Bearley 92, Ella Haar 93, Audrey Webb 96 and Hailey Wells 98.
Pretty Prairie’s Lyndsey Hoyt and Jewelynn Reese placed seventh and eighth at 100 and 101. Hallie Deel placed 15th at 113.
Cheney golfers Kenna Markel, Gracie Henning and Madisyn Schmidt placed first, second and fourth in the Central Plains League JV tournament with scores of 54, 57 and 58.
