The Nickerson High School girls golf team placed fifth in the Central Kansas League tournament Tuesday on the par-72 Crazy Horse Golf Course.
Hesston won the CKL title with a 382 score, followed by Pratt 433, Larned 442, Hoisington 516 and Nickerson 516.
Nickerson’s Aubree Nikkel and Jillian Hartman placed 13th and 16th with scores of 120 and 123.
Teammates Brooke Michels, Rylee Gilbert and Cora Mae Narron placed 25th, 26th and 27th with scores of 137, 138 and 139.
Hesston’s Maci Kramer and Wendy Roth placed first and second with 86 and 88.
Teammates Elizabeth Hosford, Brynn Thiesen and Brynley Funk placed fifth, eighth and ninth with scores of 100, 108 and 111. Hesston’s Chloe Vogt was 20th with a 130 score.
