McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson High School Boys Soccer team won another league battle on Monday, Oct. 6, shutting out Winfield 6-0 on their annual MCFC Recognition night.
Yahir Valadez scored a hat trick, scoring the second, third, and fourth goals of the match. Manny Morales scored the first goal of the match, Jackson Martin scored the fifth, and Kevin Garcia scored the sixth and final goal.
A major storyline was McPherson’s defense, as they did not allow a single shot on goal during the match. The Bullpups themselves had 14.
McPherson improves to 6-5-0 on the season. They have a quick turnaround, hosting Circle on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
