Swede Women’s Soccer Fall to Evangel in Challenging Home Match

Lindsborg, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes women’s soccer team faced a tough challenge on Saturday afternoon, falling to Evangel University at Coach Ted Kessinger Family Stadium.

From the opening whistle, Evangel controlled the tempo and pace of the match, showing their strength in possession and attacking efficiency. The visitors scored four goals in the first half and added another four after the break, finishing the match with 16 total shots and consistent offensive pressure throughout the 90 minutes.

Despite the difficult circumstances, the Swedes continued to battle and worked hard until the final whistle, showing resilience and effort against a strong opponent. While clear scoring chances were limited, the team will look to learn from this performance and grow as they move forward in conference play.
