McPHERSON, Kan. – Manny Morales ended the game with yet another haul this season as McPherson Boys Soccer defeated Mulvane at home 8-0.
Morales scored four goals in the match, all of which were in the first half. He scored the first three goals of the game before Ben Bocox and Yahir Valadez got on the board. Morales scored the 6th goal of the first half, putting the Bullpups up 6-0 at halftime. Yahir Valadez and Niko Orianzzini scored the pair of goals in the second half.
Gabe Standfast only saw one shot on goal, which he saved, while McPherson’s offense finished with 18 shots. The Bullpups move to 5-5 on the season. They will have a busy early part of next week, playing at home against Winfield on Monday, Oct. 6, and against Circle at home on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
