Pretty Prairie and Fairfield runners participated in the 2025 Larned Abby Trapp-Prescott Classic Thursday.
The meet took placed at Larned High School.
The Pretty Prairie varsity girls placed second with 43 points. Hodgeman County won the varsity girls team title with 31 points. Bucklin finished third with 50 points.
Pretty Prairie’s Amity White placed third in the varsity girls 5K race with a time of 22 minutes, 58.3 seconds. Ava White placed 10th, 24:40.8; Brennan Schrag, 20th, 26:32.2; Ava Goering, 28th, 29:13.2; and Shantell Willis, 36th, 30:34.9.
Pretty Prairie’s Eli Young placed 35th in the varsity boys 5K with a time of 21:13.1, followed by Zac England, 39th, 21:34.9; and Lucas Miller, 45th, 22:00.8.
In the junior high boys 2-mile race, Pretty Prairie’s Gage Schroeder placed fourth with a time of 12:38.7, followed by Michael Ramirez, 28th, 16:09.3.
Pretty Prairie’s James Belliveau placed second in the junior high school 1-mile run with a time of 6:26.2, followed by Jason Haflich, third, 6:29.2; Kadon Haflich, fifth, 6:31.4; Easton Goering, 13th, 6:43.5; Jace Lobban, 43rd, 7:49.5; and Madden Mizel, 60th, 9:03.9.
In the junior high school girls 2-mile run, Pretty Prairie’s Lily Casey placed 35th with a time of 16:37.5.
In the junior high school girls 1-mile run, Pretty Prairie’s Karlee Sutherland placed 51st in 8:11.5, followed nay Adilynn Chester, 54th, 8:20.7; and Ella Schroeder, 55th, 8:29.
Fairfield’s William McIver placed 32nd in the varsity boys 5K race with a time of 20:50.4. Thad Brown placed 79th in 27:57.3.
Fairfield seventh-grader Addison Fischer placed 50th in the middle school girls 1-mile run.
