HESSTON, Kan. – The McPherson High School Girls Golf team broke their school record that was set in their home invitational last week, winning the Buhler Invitational held in Hesston.
17 teams took part in the invitational, seeing McPherson on top with an overall score of 303, breaking the previous school record of 313 that was set in the McPherson Invitational earlier this season. Four players finished with new personal bests, led by senior Andi Buschbom, shooting one-under-par (68) to finish in 2nd place individually. Senior Brodie Kuhn placed 3rd with 70.
“I’m extremely proud of our entire team,” Head Coach Treg Fawl said. “This team continues to raise the bar, and I couldn’t be prouder of their dedication, effort, and success.”
