Buhler Girls Golf Team 3rd, Paulsrud 4th at Buhler Invitational

The Buhler High School girls golf team placed third with a 322 score and Anika Paulsrud finished fourth at the Buhler Invitational with a 2-over-par 71 Friday at the Hesston Golf Course.

Buhler’s 322 score was the team’s best effort of the fall season.

McPherson won the team title with a 303 score, followed by Wellington at 319.

Garden City finished fourth with a 333 score, followed by Augusta 334, Winfield 344, Goddard Eisenhower 362, Concordia 364, Rock Creek 370, Hesston 372, Andale 390, Andover Central 396, Salina South 417, Haysville-Campus 421, Newton 421, Towanda-Circle 430 and Clay Center 448.

Buhler’s Gabriella Gillepsie and Addison Specht shots 82s and placed 16th and 17th. Paityn Weber placed 27th, 87; Macy Miller, 44th, 94; Harlie Terrell, 50th, 88; Gracin Bergmeier, 61st, 103; Ellie Goering, 65th, 105; and Jessa Losew, 68th, 107.

McPherson’s Andi Buschbom and Brodie Kuhn placed second and third with 68 and 70 scores. Lleyton Kuhn placed 21st, 84; Amelia Moody, 42nd, 93; and Leah Cahone, 43rd, 93.

Concordia’s Mya Niehues captured first-place medalist honors with an even-par 66.
