The Inman High School volleyball team improved its record to 15-7 by sweeping two matches from Sterling Thursday night at Inman.
The host Teutons defeated the Black Bears 25-21, 25-17 in the first match and the second match 24-26, 25-15, 25-14.
According to Sports in Kansas, Taylor Froese, a 5-foot-11 junior setter/right-side hitter, passed 1,000 career assists and 150 career aces in the win over Sterling.
Froese has missed half the games this season to injury but is back on the court this week and is still on track to pass the 500 career kills milestone soon.
Froese has been a three-year, six-rotation starter for the Teutons.
