Freshman Jacob Rogers finished in 61st place overall on Thursday at the Goddard Invitational cross country meet at Lake Afton Cross Country Course.
Rogers was one of three Salthawks who competed in the race. He completed the 5,000-meter course in 24 minutes, 7.52 seconds. Fellow freshman Collin Patton was right behind in 64th place (24:09.2).
Freshman Will Reade also competed in the race.
The Salthawks next compete on Saturday at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence.
