BUHLER, Kan. – McPherson High School Girls Tennis took a short trip to Buhler on Thursday, winning the invitational over six other schools.
McPherson finished with 53 total points, defeating Buhler by 10 to earn the top spot. All competitors finished in the top five in the event.
Maryn Sandbo finished 2nd in the Singles tournament. Mayson Wiens finished 5th. Avery Unruh & Quinn Liebl won the Doubles tournament, defeating Dragon Rodriguez & McKenna Paul in the championship to secure 2nd place.
“Overall, our girls should be proud of their performance at Buhler,” Head Coach Tyler Brown said. “Next week brings an even greater challenge with the DG Classic and the Tournament of Champions at Collegiate.
