Buhler JV Golfers Capture Andover Central Front 9 Title

The Buhler High School junior varsity girls golf team placed first in the Andover Central JV Front 9 tournament Tuesday.

The Crusaders posted a 173 score. Goddard and Wellington tied for second at 189, followed by Maize South 203, Towanda-Circle 205, Andover Central 206 and Valley Center 212.

Wellington’s Ava Bales won first-place medalist honors with a 7-over-par 26.

Buhler’s Avery Moore tied for second with a 12-over-par 41 with Wellington’s Harper Ginter and Goddard’s Hannah Rouse.

Buhler’s Ava Schmidt and Brylee Belt placed fifth and sixth at 42 and 43. Teammate Olivia Hall tied for 10th at 47. Buhler’s Zoe Swan tied for 15th place with a 50.

Another Buhler squad placed seventh in the Andover Central Back 9 Tournament with a 229 score.

Buhler’s Berkley Erickson tied for 20th place with 54 score. Teammates Bristal Robbins and Frankie Baldwin tied for 27th at 58, followed by Aria Rhodenbaugh, tied for 30th, 59; Brayln McFarland, 39th, 66; and Swayze Redman, 40th, 68.

Andover won the Back 9 title with a 178 score.
