Hutchinson Trinity Catholic High School seniors Jacob and John Lindstrom are first and second on Sports in Kansas’ Class 2A list of cross country leaders.
Jacob Lindstrom has posted a 5K time of 16 minutes, 20.51 seconds to lead Class 2A boys runners. Twin bother John Lindstrom has been clocked at 16:27.85.
Inman High School senior Riley Roots is 10th in Class 2A boys with a time of 17.04.35.
Buhler High School junior Corbin Starkweather is third on the Class 4A girls list with a 5K time of 19:58.42.
Hesston senior Ashley Lehman is eighth in Class 3A girls with a time of 20:22.82 and teammate Avery Carson is 10th at 20:40.23.
Hutchinson Trinity, Buhler and Hutchinson Central Christian will compete in the Buhler Invitational at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Hutchinson High School runners will compete at the Hays High Invitational Thursday. Haven, Nickerson, Pretty Prairie and Fairfield runners will compete at the St. John Invitational.
