Haven High School hosted the 30th annual Coleman Classic volleyball tournament Saturday at the Haven gymnasium.
The Cheney Cardinals won the Haven tournament with a 5-0 record, and improved to 9-6. Cheney’s Landry Voth, Lucy Fouquet and Kenadi Thome made the All-Tournament Team.
Cheney defeated Garden Plain, Hutchinson Trinity Catholic, Inman, Haven and Kingman.
Garden Plain finished second with a 4-1 record, losing to Cheney 26-24, 25-17 and beating Hutchinson Trinity, Inman, Haven and Kingman. Garden Plain’s Jacey Stuhlsatz, Reese Stuhlsatz and Lylah Zoglman made the All-Tournament Team.
Haven placed third with a 3-2 record, posting wins over Hutchinson Trinity, Inman and Kingman. Haven’s Avery Brawner made the All-Tournament Team.
The Inman Teutons placed fourth with a 2-3 record, posting wins over Kingman and Hutchinson Trinity. Inman’s Morgan Froese and Maddison Parsons made the All-Tournament Team.
Kingman placed fifth with a 1-4 record, posting a win over Hutchinson Trinity. The Eagles’ Kinslie McDorman made the All-Tournament Team.
Hutchinson Trinity Catholic placed sixth with an 0-5 record.

Goessel Tournament
The Fairfield Falcons volleyball team, coached by Jenny Knoche, posted a 1-3 record in the Goessel Tournament.
Knoche said the Falcons posted “a good solid win over South Haven that we took two three sets.”
Moundridge won the Goessel Tournament championship with a 5-0 record. The Wildcats posted wins over South Haven, Fairfield, Goessel, Canton-Galva and Sedgwick.
