The Haven High School varsity girls tennis team finished first at the Trinity Classic Thursday on the Hutchinson Trinity Catholic High School tennis courts.
The Haven and Buhler tennis teams both scored 35 points, with Haven claiming first place based on head-to-head competition. Nickerson placed third with 14 points, followed by Hutchinson Trinity with 10 points. Pratt placed fifth with 6 points.
Haven placed first at Nos. 1 and 2 singles with 4-0 records and finished second at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles with 3-1 records.
Kensie Popp and Madison Richey played Nos. 1 and 2 singles. Bayleigh Minnis and Karlee Cooprider played No. 1 doubles. Kayla Rose and Sorrel DeFrain played No. 2 doubles.
