The Hutchinson High School Salthawks will be on the road again.
The Sallthawks, who shut out Andover Central (the defending Kansas Class 4A state champions) 34-0 last week and will play at Valley Center Friday night.
Kickoff is 7 p.m.
In other area high school football games Friday in Week 2, Hutchinson Trinity plays at Sedgwick, Buhler hosts Augusta, Hutchinson Central Christian hosts Canton-Galva, Haven plays at Nickerson, Fairfield plays at Pratt-Skyline, Inman hosts Wichita Trinity Academy, Halstead plays at Pratt, Little River plays at Rural Vista, Sterling plays at Moundridge and the Reno County Sabres play at Norwich.
The Sterling at Moundridge matchup is a Class 1A and Heart of America League showdown.

• 5A Great Bend plays at 6A Olathe South.
• 5A Hays, which came from behind to beat 6A powerhouse Derby 22-21 in Week 1 of the high school football season last Friday, hosts Choctaw, Okla.
• 5A St. Thomas Aquinas, the defending 5A state champions coached by former Hutchinson coach Rick Dreiling, plays at St. James Academy Friday in Lenexa.
• Class 4A Wellington plays at Class 3A Andale, which scored 104 points last Friday.
• Class 6A Manhattan plays at 6A Free State, 6A Wichita East plays at 6A Wichita Northwest, 6A BV Northwest plays at 6A SM Northwest and 6A Blue Valley plays at 6A Washburn Rural.
• Class 5AMill Valley plays at Lee’s Summit North (Mo.).
