The Inman Teutons volleyball team placed third in the Inman Invitational Saturday with a 3-2 record.
Moundridge won the tournament title with a 5-0 record. Sedgwick won the runner-up with a 4-1 record. Chaparral placed fourth with a 2-3 record, followed by Conway Springs fifth at 1-4 and Remington sixth at 0-5.
Inman defeated Remington 2-8, 25-18, Conway Springs 25-14, 25-23 and Chaparral 25-14, 21-25, 25-17. The Teutons lost to Moundridge 25-19, 25-17 and Sedgwick 12-25, 25-14, 25-18.
In addition to beating Inman, Moundridge defeated Sedgwick 25-16, 25-15, Chaparral 25-17, 25-23, Conway Springs 25-11, 25-18 and Remington 25-16, 25-17.
In addition to beating Inman, Sedgwick defeated Chaparral 25-12, 25-14, Remington 25-12, 25-14 and Conway Springs 24-26, 25-19, 25-17.
Chaparral defeated Remington 17-25, 25-22, 25-18 and Conway Springs 21-25, 25-18. 25-21. Chaparral’s losses were to Moundridge, Sedgwick and Inman.
Conway Springs’ lone win was against Remington 25-23, 25-21.
