The Hutchinson High School girls golf team placed seventh out of eight teams at the Derby Varsity Invitational Tuesday at the par-36 Derby Golf and Country Club.
Goddard Eisenhower won the nine-hole tournament with a nine-hole score of 183, followed by Derby 204, Rose Hill 205, Haysviille Campus 212, Maize 231, Newton 236, Hutchinson 236 and Mulvane 243.
Hutchinson’s Audryee Soule tied for 16th place with a 54 score, followed by Hannah Marcum, tied for 24th, 57; Bria Carlston and Jade Brislin, tied for 35th, 64; Naddilyn Wellington, tied 41st, 67; and Baylee Pickering, tied for 45th, 69.
Goddard Eisenhower’s Stella Wright captured first-place medalist honors with a 4-over-par 43.
