Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce Lily Rodriguez with Hutchinson Girls Soccer as the Athlete of the Week.
The week – Rodriguez had a strong week during a pair of Salthawk wins in early April. Rodriguez first had a pair of assists in a 3-1 win on April 8 over Newton, and two days later, Rodriguez had a goal and an assist in an 8-0 rout of Salina Central.
The season – Rodriguez finished up her high school career as a three-sport standout, in golf, basketball and soccer. In soccer, Rodriguez was a first-team all-AVCTL Division 1 midfielder. She finished the season with three goals and 12 assists, and her teammates voted her co-offensive player of the year.
