MATCH SUMMARY

  • In a highly competitive first half, April Ochoa became the first to capitalize, nailing her first goal of the season at the 26′ mark and disrupting what was otherwise an even half. The Cougars evened up the score with just under 13 minutes remaining in the match, but the Bluejays only ramped up their attack. A shot by Porsha Zweifel came clanging off the right post of the goal just four minutes later, only for her to regain possession and fire in the second goal of the day for the home side. Three minutes later, a Haley Rogers shot off the post was also rebounded by Zweifel, who promptly netted her second goal of the afternoon. The Bluejays were afforded one final chance at the net, as Zweifel zinged a shot off the post with Hailey Rogers coming in to take possession and fire off the final shot.

UP NEXT

  • The Bluejays will enjoy a second straight home match as Hesston comes to town on Wednesday for a match that is set to kickoff at 5pm.
