Crash Claims Life of Stafford County Man Friday Night

STAFFORD COUNTY, Kan. — A Stafford County man died in a Friday night crash in far northeast Stafford County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim as Adam Bellindir, 33, of Hudson.

Bellindir’s car was eastbound on Northeast 160th Street about ¾ mile west of Northeast 80th Avenue, about 15 miles northeast of St. John when it left the roadway to the right and overturned multiple times.

Bellindir, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend, with Father Aneesh Parappanattu and Terrance Klein concelebrating. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend.  Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2025, with a Vigil and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.  Memorials may be given to the Adam Bellendir Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS  67530.
