Five area FFA members are among 75 from Kansas who will be presented the American FFA Degree at the 98th annual National FFA Convention and Expo later this year.
The American FFA Degree, the organization’s highest honor, recognizes the effort members apply towards their supervised agricultural experience and outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement through their FFA Career.
Among those getting the Degree are Cody Wille from the Iola FFA Chapter, Kynlee Lind from the Southern Coffey County Chapter, and from the Burlington Chapter Emma Krueger and Hunter Reiling.
The Burlington chapter was one of three in Kansas to have three-degree recipients, the others being Andale and Inman. Prairie View High School’s FFA chapter had nine members earn the American FFA Degree.
