CEO Jon Lightle said the additional spectrum will function like adding more lanes to a highway to handle increased network traffic and improve service quality, including enhanced connectivity in rural and indoor locations, faster data speeds for streaming and video, and more capacity to accommodate growing devices and emerging technology.
The transaction will not affect existing accounts, phone numbers or services for customers of either company and no customer action is required.
Nex-Tech Wireless operates as a subsidiary of Nex-Tech Inc./Rural Telephone, Golden Belt Telephone Association, and Tri-County Telephone, providing wireless services across more than 40 Kansas counties focusing on rural and underserved communities.
