Barton County’s 10th Annual Business Showcase Honors Educators & Unites Businesses

Presented by the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce and Credit Union of America

GREAT BEND, Kan. — The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the upcoming 10th Annual Business Showcase, a community-wide celebration connecting Barton County’s educators with local businesses, scheduled for Friday, August 8 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Panther Activity Center (PAC), 2450 19th Street, Great Bend, KS 67530.

For a decade, the Showcase has offered meaningful engagement between local enterprises and school staff. This year, it expands its reach to include every educator and support staff member in Barton County, from public districts and private schools to Barton Community College and homeschool organizations.

To help manage traffic flow and ensure meaningful interactions:

USD 428 staff are invited starting at 9:00 AM
All other districts and education groups will join beginning at 9:45 AM

What to Expect

Local businesses are stepping up in a big way to show their appreciation for the educators who shape Barton County. Attendees will enjoy:

Items for sale with special discounts and educator-focused offers
Thoughtful giveaways to celebrate and support school staff

“The Showcase is our way of saying thank you,” said Megan Barfield, President & CEO of the Chamber. “It’s more than a networking event; it’s a celebration of those who invest in Barton County’s future every day.”

Business Participation

Booth opportunities remain for Chamber Members at $100 per booth, though Premier Booths are already sold out. Businesses must register and pay online at greatbend.org. Booth space is limited and filling fast. Businesses should plan for upwards of 750 attendees with this year’s expanded audience.
