McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson Baseball Association (MBA) is holding their tryouts for the 2026 season Saturday, July 19 at the Grant Baseball Complex in McPherson.
The MBA is an organization that provides the youth from the McPherson area the opportunity to play competitive baseball, learn the game’s fundamentals, and improve their skills. The association has multiple teams from each age level from 8U to 14U. The age of the player is determined by how old they will be on May 1, 2026.
Check in will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled tryouts listed below. Parents are asked to pre-register their children on their website as mackidsbaseball.com/tryouts, as it will speed up the registration process. If you are unable to pre-register online, you can register in person on tryout day. Warm-ups will begin 15 minutes before tryouts begin.
Listed below are the times for each age group:
- 8U: 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
- 9U: 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- 10U: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- 11U & 12U: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- 13U & 14U: 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Each team will consist of between 10 and 12 players and will be posted on their website on Sunday, Aug. 3.
