COLBY, Kan. – The KJCCC released their All-Conference teams for the 2025 season Thursday, May 15. Multiple players from Barton Community College and Hutchinson Community College were honored as both teams were in Salina for the Plains District Tournament.

HUTCHINSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE:
The Blue Dragons’ baseball season concluded Wednesday, May 15 after falling to KCKCC 11-3 in Salina in an elimination game in the Plains District tournament. It came after a strong season where they finished 40-21 overall and went 18-14 against Jayhawk Conference opponents, finishing them in 3rd in the West Division.
Hutchinson CC finished with one First Team honoree, four Second Team winners, and five honorable mentions:

BARTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE:
The Barton CC Cougars finished as Jayhawk Conference division champs after a 26-6 record against conference foes and finishing 42-13. However, they lost both of their games in the Plains District tournament, falling to Coffeyville Tuesday, May 13 and Hutchinson Wednesday, May 14 to end their season.
The Cougars didn’t win major awards as those were nearly swept by Colby, but they had eight total honorees, including three First Team winners, two Second Team honorees, and three honorable mentions:
