CHANUTE, Kan. (GoNeosho.com) – Neosho Men’s Soccer secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Central in a tightly contested match at home. The game was a battle from the start, with both teams struggling to break the deadlock. Neosho finally found the breakthrough just before halftime when #10 Asaph Silveira netted the decisive goal in the 44th minute, thanks to an assist from Callum Niven. The second half saw Neosho hold strong defensively, fending off Central’s efforts to equalize and preserve their narrow lead. It was a gritty performance by the Panthers, who earned an important win as they continue their season moving to 10-1-2. The panthers are currently ranked #5 in the NJCAA Week 7 rankings and looking to continue their success.
