Bulldog Shotgun Sports Prepare For Final Stretch Of League Play

McPHERSON, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — The McPherson College Shotgun Sports squad has completed its first three weeks of Clay Target League play and is entering its final three weeks of play in a great spot.

Heading into the home stretch of the season, the Bulldogs currently sit in fourth place in their seven-team conference and hold a 50 point edge over Concordia College of Moorhead, who currently sits in fifth. A 175.5 point gap separates the Bulldogs from third place that is currently held by Minot State University.

Week three saw some standout performances by the Bulldogs. Leading the way was junior Zach Hawley, who recorded a total of 55 points. Dominic Leech followed suit, tailing 49 points. Riley Sojka and Tate Brewer both scored 33 while Isaac Schneider, Laci Jennings, and Mackenzie McEachron all went for 25.5 points. Leann Dalinghaus and Marcello Dean both scored 20 points to round out the week for MC.

Shotgun Sports returns to action tomorrow for week four of league play as they continue to prepare for the USA College Clay Target National Championship in Bunker Hill, Illinois on November 3.
