Lyons Boys Edged Late at Minneapolis

With the game tied at 51, Kingston Deronnet of Minneapolis scored the go-ahead bucket with 6.9 seconds remaining and finished it off with a steal of the in-bounds pass after Lyons had advanced the ball into the front court before calling a timeout, as Minneapolis won 53-51.

This game featured numerous lead changes and a tie in the closing seconds before Minneapolis escaped with the win.

Lyons had two players scoring in double figures with Tegan Link scoring 17 points and Paco Espinoza with 15.

Minneapolis improves to 2-7 and 2-3 in league play. Lyons falls to 3-5 on the season and 1-3 in the NCAA league. Lyons will host Larned on Friday while Minneapolis will host Southeast of Saline.
